How Well Do You Treat Your Business Ideas?

by: Carol A Soares (reading – 6.6. - 12.6.)

Do you give your business ideas a chance to flourish? Or do you easily surrender to negative influences?

Before discarding an idea, you need to remember that every business, every manufactured article, every thriving service began as an idea, as author Richard Bauman notes. So when you have an idea for doing something in a more efficient, economical, or quicker manner, and want to market it, don't let others dishearten you. Before giving up, make sure you have conducted proper research which has convinced you that it is not going to work.

Your Sales Pitch

Every idea which entails changing standard practices, launching a brand new product or offering a new service requires funding; in other words, you will have to sell it to others. So you'd better be prepared for your sales pitch. This means doing your research meticulously. You need to predict questions and doubts and be ready to argue with facts, not viewpoints. So it is important to be adequately prepared to discuss not only what you intend to do, but also the reason why your idea is preferable to what is now available or standard practice. It is also important to remember that the presentation of charts, pictures, statistics and working models can be convincing.

If your idea is rejected, you can present it elsewhere - it may take some time before you meet the people who will be receptive to it. Some of your ideas won't be sensible and will justifiably be rejected. But others will be extraordinary and deserve to be tried out. At any rate, don't be influenced by those who will easily dismiss it. There are many examples of people who faced the rejection of brilliant ideas, including inventors such as Thomas Edison, and writers such as J.K. Rowling.

Why Your Brilliant Idea is Turned Down

Your idea may be turned down not because the person to whom it is presented is not clever enough; they just may feel comfortable with the way things are and are afraid of change. So they prefer to be blind to the potential of your idea; they shield themselves from disruption, because it challenges their familiar world, the privileges and comfort already enjoyed in it. They fail to acknowledge that their world too can benefit from your brilliant idea.

As a woman entrepreneur, you may also face some additional reservations about your business ideas. So it is helpful to seek and leverage the power of a like-minded community having similar issues: Several women are still having trouble securing funding for their startups - including celebrities who have decided to begin a new venture. You may need to build this community from scratch - but it will be a rewarding endeavour.

Do you want to be more confident in pitching your business ideas to others? The power lies within you; I can help you discover it at www.goo.gl/Dxb5Ei .

Eight Types Of Bikes At Motorcycle Dealers

by: Mark Share (reading – 13.6. - 19.6.)

The first motorized bike was invented in 1867 and powered by steam. In 1894, the first mass-produced model was built. Since 1894, hundreds of millions of choppers, scooters, and off-road motorbikes have been produced and sold by motorcycle dealers throughout the world. In 2013, over 8,400,000 were registered in the United States. California, Florida, and Texas accounted for about a quarter of all registrations. They are very popular in dense cities and developing countries due to their low rates of fuel consumption and relatively inexpensive purchase price. Here are the eight main styles of bikes that you will find at motorcycle dealers.

Standard bikes are designed for basic street use. They generally do not have a windshield, and the driver sits in an upright position.

Cruisers are larger than most other motorbikes, and they offer a more reclined seating position. They have more torque, which allows beginner riders to not shift as much. Cruisers are popular with many motorcycle groups.

Dual-sport motorbikes are, as the name suggests, designed for both street and off-road use. Since they are driven off-road at times, a taller suspension is required, giving the rider a more upright seating position.

Sport bikes are designed for high levels of street performance. They are generally the fastest motorcycles on the road. They also offer the best braking and handling. As a result of the emphasis on performance, sport models generally offer lower fuel economy than their counterparts, and a less comfortable riding experience. Since they are designed with minimal air resistance in mind, riders sit leaning over the handlebars.

Touring models are built with the comfort of the rider in mind. They are used for longer distance trips, and often allow seating for a second rider. Most types have storage areas on the bike for luggage, and some even offer options such as radio and GPS navigation. Touring types can weigh well over 1,000 pounds when fully loaded.

Sport Touring

As the name suggests, sport touring bikes are a blend of the two models previously discussed. They are generally smaller and lighter than touring models, but larger and more comfortable than sport models. Due to their combination of comfort and sportiness, these models are one of the most popular.

Mopeds and Scooters

Scooters and mopeds are the lighter versions of the models discussed above. They have smaller engines, an upright seating position, and they often have an automatic transmission. As a result, they are very easy to drive. The small engine offers excellent gas mileage, as well. Worldwide, mopeds and scooters are the best-selling types of motorbike.

Off-road models are used exactly how the name suggests. They offer riders a more upright seating position and long suspension travel to deal with bumps and dips. The tires used are generally, specifically designed for their use on dirt, mud, and rocks.

In conclusion, motorcycle dealers offer potential riders a lot of options. If you are in the market for a new motorbike, use this list to help pick the model that is right for you.

Argentine Tango

by: Nazmun Nahar (reading – 27.6. - 3.7.)

A short history of Argentine tango

Argentine tango is a musical technology genre and social dance that begun in Argentina and Uruguay. Argentine tango music is much more variable than ballroom tango (ballroom dance refers to a set of partner dances, which are enjoyed both socially and competitively around the world) that branched out from its original Argentine roots by allowing European, American, Hollywood, and ambitious influences in the style and performance of the dance. A large amount of tango music has been composed by a variety of different orchestras over the last century. Not only is there a large volume of music, there is a breadth of stylistic distinctions between these orchestras as well, which makes it easier for Argentine tango dancers to spend the entire nighttime dancing only Argentine tango.

So the best known element of Argentine culture is the tango dance. Tango has been named many things "a secret danced between two people", "not a dance nevertheless an obsession", "a sad thought that is danced", "that reptile from the brothels". It has been said that "tango is not in the paws. It is in the heart."

We do not know the exact origin of the word "Tango". Although the specific origins of the Tango are not clear, it does go back well over 100 years. In the 1890s, the word "Tango" first appeared connoting a specific dance. It is now generally believed to have been used in the old "Candombes", or religious festivals, held by the descendants of Black slaves. During these festivals (Candombes), there was much dancing to the rhythm of the 'Tang" drums, and curiously, participants used the word 'Tang' for almost everything, the dance itself, the drums used, and even the places where these religious rituals were carried out. It is quite probable that the "Tang" started to be today's "Tango". (Needless to say, the 'Whites' thought the dancing to be immoral).

This is the short history of Argentine tango. It is currently one of the best elements of America and European especially Latin American culture. If you have any plan to visit any of the America or European countries specially Argentina or Uruguay you should have some time to observe the Argentine tango cultural event. If you come back without seeing the most historical and fabulous cultural event of the world you will regret missing this.

If you are more interested in Argentine tango use any of the search engines like Google and write Argentine tango and you will find lots of details about Argentine tango.
